Pro Business Life is a project implemented by the Youth for Education and Society Association and financed by The Ministry of Youth and Sports at the National Contest for Youth Projects 2014.


Project objectives

Stimulating involvement in the economic field for 100 young people in order to start their own business.
Developing economic creativity of 100 young people through marketing and promotion techniques.
Developing entrepreneurial skills in order to involve the youth of Romania in economic activities.


About the project

Within the project, TES is organizing a Free Course, structured into two modules: Start UP Business and Marketing.
100 places are available for young people aged between 18 and 35 years old.


During the Start-up Business module you will learn:

Analysis of the business environment in Romania;
Legal forms: association/foundations, registered sole trader, Ltd./Inc., specific forms of association;
Choosing the scope of activity;
Branding and competitiveness;
Business plan – methods of elaboration;
Negotiating and concluding contracts;
Business strategies;
Project management;
Risk management.


During the Marketing and promotion module you will learn:

Definitions and conceptual frameworks used in marketing;
Segmentation and target groups;
Identifying business objectives;
Marketing plan;
Budgeting and resource allocation;
Promotional notions, features of each media outlet of mass market promotion (TV, radio, ooh, print, online);
Monitoring a campaign, key indicators of the success of a campaign.


Marketing and promotion with Ana-Maria Stan, Marketing director H&M

Ana has an experience of 7 years in the field of retail marketing, time during which she has contributed to the start-up and market consolidation of a network of sport items (Hervis Sports) and has helped with the stabilizing of a global brand of clothing (H&M) within the Romanian market. She was trained as a professional in the context of launching a new retailer, gathering experience in inaugurating of new stores, brand building, advertising, media buying, campaign creation and promotional activities both on the ATL and the BTL segment, strategic management, market research.
She has continued her career within H&M, after a year of the brand’s launch in Romania, and has enriched her experience in brand development and strategic planning.
